- Make ready 4 chicken parts
- Prepare Blended 3 attarugu, 3 chilli, 1 red bell pepper, 1 big Onion
- Take Pounded ginger and garlic
- Make ready Seasoning
- Take 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Take To glaze
- Make ready 1 tablespoon honey
- Take 1 tablespoon Chilli sauce
Serve the chicken garnished with the parsley. On a large baking dish, arrange chicken and peppers. In a separate bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Pour the glaze over the chicken to coat.
Instructions to make Baked peppered Chicken:
- Preheat Oven @ 200°c.
- Wash Chicken parts, put in a deep bowl.
- Add in blended mix and Oil.
- Add in pounded ginger and garlic. Add seasoning.
- Give the mixture a through mix to incorporate everything.
- Get foil paper, turn in mixture and wrap up tightly. Put in the oven and allow to bake, at least 20mins.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey and Chilli sauce, set aside.
- When Chicken is ready, bring out and glaze all round with honey mix.
- Put back into Oven with wrapping up the foil. 5mins and you're good to go.
Alternatively, you can marinate the chicken in the glaze in a plastic bag for at least an hour or overnight. Made this again tonight but this time with boneless, skinless chicken thighs and it was equally as good. I use half the pepper (course freshly ground) and half the oil and it's so good and probably the best copycat recipe I've ever made. Chicken breast simmered with onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, soy sauce, and spices to be served with a rich pepper steak style gravy. If you like the taste of pepper steak but really don't enjoy red meat, try it with chicken!
